My studio/gallery is right beside the town Post Office. Our little town doesn't have home delivery of the mail so nearly everyone in town walks by my shop once a day to get their mail. Being as it is West Virginia and not exactly densely populated enarly everyone drives up, parks and walks to the front fo the Post Office, lening in the door to say somehting along the way.
What amazes me is how many of them comment on gas prices when they stick their head in the studio or when standing around in the Post Office while their cars sit running.
They have the gall to sit and complain about how much gas costs, how bad heating oil prices are going to be and how they cannot afford to get out of town for the holiday while their cars sit running with the air conditioner going full blast. Empty. Parked. For 15 or 10 minutes for some of them.
Amazing.
